Shannon Mechutan is the Contributing Editor of Modern Urban Baby. Shannon is a new modern mom based in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. A television and film producer whose credits include HGTV, The History Channel, and National Geographic. Shannon’s video internship at Gawker Media (while pregnant) exposed her to a new interest: blogging! Months later an enthusiasm for all-things-baby blossomed with the birth of her daughter,Frederica. The two came together in perfect synergy, when Tracy Fay asked her to come aboard as MUB’s new Contributing Editor. When not focusing on major milestones, she and Fred can be found wandering and pondering the streets of their modern urban world.

Tracy Fay is the Editor in Chief of  Modern Urban Baby, Modern Urban Living, Modern Urban Style and her personal site, The Mod Muse.  She lives in Manhattan/Copenhagen, Denmark, occasionally with one cat.
